Mezza Norte

Last weekend me, dude and his cousin went on a food trip. Of course the best place to be when you are craving for food is Mezza Norte also known as Mercato. If you are a food lover this one of the best place to go because there are variety of foods, drinks and desert to choose from. Everything you are craving for is here.

Let's begin our food trip.

They have different Filipino's best viand

They have pasta and steaks (sorry I was not able to took a photo of those)

They have variety of burgers to choose from this one is the deep fried/pan fried burger

Another version of burger as they say Mercato's favorite the grilled burgers.

They also have chicken choppers 

According to my friend who had a free taste this dish is perfectly delicious.

They also have my all time favorite street food "isaw".

They also have another Pinoy's all time favorite the fritos calamares, crispy crablets, crispy chicken skin. chicharong bulaklak etc.

I also found a food section who offers grilled sea foods.. Saaaaaraaaaap!

They also have juice bar where you can buy you freshly squeezed fruit juice, they also offer fruit shake. Juice bar is not the only available drinks stall here they also have the famous buko shake stall and the milk tea. You can also find a stall where you can buy mineral water and soft drinks. There's also one which offer different flavor of iced tea.

Of course they have everybody's favorite. Desserts!

They have this Happy Moo ice cream which is made from fresh cow's milk. I already had this before and it really taste good way better than DQ :) you can really taste the fresh milk. Must try!

These are the flavors of their ice cream and their best seller is Sea Salt Caramel. My favorite would be their Vanilla flavor. They also have free taste so don't hesitate to ask their sales ladies are very nice as well.

And they also have the popular Mochi Ice Cream you can buy them per piece or per box. This ice cream is coated with a very thin dough that has that enhance the flavor of the ice cream inside it. It taste so good. I love it.

They also have acoustic singers in the venue. They made ambiance more relax and chill for those who are eating.

However, it is very hard to find vacant chairs and tables because there are a lot of people dinning here but with a little bit of patience you will find a sit just make sure you grab the chair first.  

In case you wonder what I ordered. Here's what I have that night.

Isaw (asado flavor and adobo flavor) I love the adobo better aside from adobo is my favorite viand the adobo isaw is soft unlike the asado that is like a chewing gum. I also had fresh watermelon juice. The juice is very good not so sweet and you can really taste that it is fresh watermelon. 

For my dessert I tried for the first time the mochi ice cream strawberry cheesecake flavor and I love it! I will try the other flavors as well.

You should try to have at least one weekend dinner date with your friends here in Mezza Norte you will not regret it the variety of food are excellent as well as the taste. I strongly suggest that you visit Mezza Norte this weekend and I am sure once you've tried it you will go back for more cause I am.

My Life Companion

3 months ago I can't decide which phone to buy I am thinking of getting iPhone 5 or Samsung Galaxy S3. I consulted my friends asked for their opinion which on fits me best. Well both phones are beautiful, awesome and advanced in their way. I love the fashionable style of iPhone 5 and I love the big screen of Galaxy S3. I am not a "techie" person so I am not aware of the specs or RAM or anything technical. What I care about is the style, the camera, and the app. I want to play in a large screen at the same time I wanted it to be stylish. Then a friend told me instead of iPhone or S3 just wait for the Samsung Galaxy S4 and I did.

After a week GS4 was released. I looked at the reviews the style and I immediately fall in love with GS4. However, I am still torn between iPhone 5 and GS4 and it made me more confuse.  Until a week ago I realized my birthday is coming and I need to have a phone. I compared GS4 and iPhone 5 and I realized what I am looking for is in GS4 stylish, big screen, fun apps, the camera plus it's RAM. A week ago I bought my life companion and we are together now for a week. I can't say GS4 is better than iPhone 5 or vice versa cause I haven't used IOS before, what I can assure is there's no regret having a GS4.  I am enjoying and loving every moment of it.

Puerto Galera

Summer of 2013!

Yeah I know this is already late cause we can feel that the rainy season is coming well hey it's better late than never and my last hurrah for summer is still yet to come.

I started the summer of 2013 last March 1 and it all happened in Puerto Galera. Since I live in the south White Beach Puerto Galera is one of the most accessible beaches.

I was in Galera with two of my girl friends. They went there ahead of because I still have work and my vacation leave was not approved.

Since I am coming from Makati I went to Pasay and rode the blue bus going to Batangas Port (130php). My experience was not so good. The bus is too slow because it was broken after 1 hour and 45 minutes we finally reached the grand terminal in Batangas and the bus drop us all and we have to wait for the next bus. That pissed me off because it is almost 9:30 and I want to catch the boat that will sail at 10am after 30 minutes the bus finally arrived. When I arrived at Batangas Port I immediately went to Minolo Shipping Lines and bought a round ticket (540php). Aside from the ticket you also have to pay for the environmental fee and terminal fee (80php) plus the tip for the boy who assisted me (20php). The sea travel was maximum of 2 hours. Around 12:30pm finally I saw the White Beach of Puerto Galera.

Immediately when I arrived at the hotel I just drop my things and we headed to the beach to do water activities. Good thing I am already wearing my swimsuit.

Our first activity was a long boat ride. We went to the snorkeling spot in Puerto Galera. At first I was so anxious because I know that we are in the middle of the ocean and I feel like sinking but when we finally arrived at the spot where there are coral riffs and beautiful salt water fish I decided to go down the water and I shouldn't miss it. When I looked down I was so amazed how beautiful the scenery under the water that i wanted to touch it the fishes are so close to me I can touch them. The view is breath taking and beautiful unfortunately we do not have underwater cameras.

 After our snorkeling we rode a small bangka and we went to underwater cave.

Before we can enter the underwater cave we have to climb this gigantic rock and I am telling you it ain't easy because the rock has a rough and pointy surface.

When we reached the peek of the rock of course we cannot miss to take photos not only that the view is beautiful but it is also an achievement.

After reaching the peek we have to go down on the other side to enter the underwater cave. If going up is not easy, going down is even harder not only the stones are rough and pointy it is also slippery. Good thing we met gentlemen who helped us.

Going out of the cave is not that easy as well but it is not as hard as going in definitely this was fun and exciting.

After our extreme Underwater Cave experience we had our relaxing Island hopping.

The sun set but our day is not yet over. We experienced Puerto Galera's Night Life. It feels like we were in a comedy bar somewhere in Tomas Morato the only difference is we are along the beach there are performers in every restaurant and they are really good and funny. Not only that every restaurant have fire dancers. They are really good and they dance very well. 

After we ate and watched the performers and after taking photos with the fire dancers we decided to have a drink or two at the pool side of the hotel we are staying.

We woke up early because we wanted to catch the 10am boat cause we wanted to go home early. When I went out side our room because I wanted some fresh air this is what I saw.

We stayed in Tribal Hills Mountain Resort it is not along the beach but we didn't regret staying here because the staffs are accommodating, the rooms are big and clean and have a 21 inch cable TV, the shower is big and clean. They have their own bar and swimming pool and of course the view from our room is relaxing.

Puerto Galare is definitely one of the beaches that should be on your list every summer beside that it is near in the metro. It is not expensive to stay here and you have a lot of things to do day and night.

Hey!!!

Yes, it’s me again ceca and I’m back to share my thoughts and experience. Not only that I’m back with new homepage. This is part of me starting fresh after reaching rock bottom. Enough of that let’s talk about the good things that had happened there’s a lot things to share and to tell 2013 is so fine. I knew it from the very beginning starting day one of this year that this will hold a lot of adventure, opportunity and best things for me.

Five months had passed and I never posted anything but pictures on facebook , instagram and twitter . To start my new blog I have a lot of fun things to tell. I had my first trip this summer, I have my new life companion which is very awesome, and I had a lot of food trip. And I will tell you all this thing that had happened and will happen here in my new home.

This is going to be exciting.

An Open Letter To My Future Boyfriend

dear future boyfriend,

i know you’ve already come across different ladies, but just like me you’re still searching.. it wouldn’t be too hard to please me..cause just so you know i am not looking for Mr. Perfect but Mr. right.. I’m sure you are a good man and you value your family especially your mother.. you might not be that religious but I know you pray to God everyday..i like how you carry yourself, the confidence that you have that only shows that you can really handle me..it is ok with me if you don’t have the peter parker image cause i know that by the end of the day your my chuck bass..i love everything about you..you being nice and you being stubborn..i love how you are so unpredictable..that it draws me closer to you..i know you are always there to support me in everything that i do especially when it comes to my career and future but thank you also for the reality bites cause as you know when i dream..i dream as if everything is possible..I know you are also a man with great dreams and hopefully we can share our dreams with each other and we can make it happen together..i like how we plan our future together cause this only shows that this relationship is for keeps..I lhope you can always makes me laugh..laugh as if there is no tomorrow especially when i’m down..and of course i love a man with sense of humor..no dull moments..

I love to go around places..I love to see the world and what it holds for me..so I hope you as well love to travel..so that we can build memories together as we go through life..don’t worry i am understanding..i will give you your boys night out every week..just make sure you do good..you can still hang out with your friends and have good times with them..just don’t forget you also have me..i love to watch basketball games so if your a basketball player big time or small time..i will make an effort to watch your every game..but if not that’s ok..i’ll support you with whatever sports you play..i will still watch your game..and i’ll be your number one cheerleader.. I hope we can have a sport together or go to the gym cause as you know I need to be active to lose weight and more than anybody else I need your support..don’t worry every after work i’ll call you so that we can talk about our day and if ever you had a bad day just call me i’ll go over to your place..cook you dinner and we can talk about what happened..you will not receive an SMS or call from me every minute or every hour but sure thing before and after you go to bed you will receive a sweet messages from me..

one more thing: I hope you value the “friend” part of being my boyfriend..cause i believe best relationship starts from friendship..I want to be silly with you and technically just hang out..I want to share our life with each other not you and me being just each other’s life..i want our family, friends and of course GOD to be part of our relationship..and hopefully you also want to extend our relationship to other aspect of life..

this relationship will only work if we have not only love but also faith and acceptance.. acceptance of all the good and bad about each other..Despite all the criteria that i gave you..i just want you to stay the same..stay as who you are..cause you, just you is already amazing..and i don’t want to change a single thing about you..relax..chill..i already love you..

I hope we find each other anytime soon.. and I know that when that time comes.. you can prove to me that you’re worth the wait..
